Munich Card

Just like its rival above, the Munich Card allows to use the entire and unlimited transport network, and offers a range of discounts in a list of partners. A little less expensive if you take the Pass one day, it turns out to be less advantageous than the City Tour Card from 3 days, and stops at 5 days of validity.

The little plus here: the price of the group ticket is the same as you are 2 or 5 people.

Munich City Card

The fastest: train (S-Bahn) and subway (U-Bahn)

The train (S-Bahn)

S-Bahn is the equivalent of RER in Paris. Just like the latter, it quickly serves the suburb of Munich, in a radius of about 50km. It also allows to travel to Munich in the city center.

Metro (U-Bahn)

Munich Metro is called U-Bahn. In town, stations are spotted by a white U on a blue background. Clean, secure and very fluid, it allows you to travel fast and easy in all the center of the city.

The most pleasant: the bus and the tram

The bus

Getting around in Munich by bus is ideal to visit the city, when you are not too busy, because traffic conditions are random.
