The skyscrapers already peak at dizzying heights, but this Japanese project has an ambition that is not comparable.
Each country wishes to have a monopoly on the highest building in the world , but this construction project in Japan could make shadows to many towers, including Burj Khalifa and even the new development plan in Dubai . But this structure will not only be the most gigantic of the planet, it will also be a kind of autonomous "mini-city".
The highest building in the world will be Japanese
The Sky Tower Mile, this is the name of the project that will be completed in 2045. This gigantic tower that could see rising from the ground in Tokyo City will, if everything goes well, be the highest construction in the world. From a mile of height (1.6 kilometer), it can accommodate nearly 55,000 people. It is therefore no wonder that it will go beyond all the other giant structures of the planet: its impressive dimensions will be five times higher than those of the planet Eiffel Tower France.

An autonomous and ecological space
This design plan designed by the agency Kohn Pedersen Fox Associates , will consist of many artificial islands, adapted to global warming, which will serve as barriers to flooding. The façade of the tower is designed to collect, filter and store the water from the atmosphere so that there is no need to pump water to the upper floors. Wind farms and solar panels are also planned to provide electricity.
The ecological aspect of this space does not leave the inhabitants in the rest. In fact, residents can share multiple facilities such as shopping centres, restaurants, gymnasiums, libraries and health centres. However, this project must still receive authorizations to be put in place, but the architects may find it difficult to compete with this building! What do you think of this future construction?
