Downtown

Also called Copper Square Downtown is the business center of the city CBD (for Central Business District). Here we find the Arizona Science Center , the history museum of Phoenix, the art museum and Burton Barr Central Library .

The central area is very small for a large American metropolis and can therefore visit on foot. This is where you have to stay in Phoenix if you like to be at the heart of social and cultural activity: art galleries mix with microbrewery and cocktail bars, cafés in the middle of pizzerias, cinemas and theatres and concert halls. Did you have the cliché of a town of the far-west populated with ignares cowboys and beer drinkers? Here we drink beer but we're grown! Camelback East is an urban village of Phoenix, located northwest of Downtown and comprising the chic neighborhoods of the city.

The areas are home to golf clubs, bourgeois houses and many landscaped amenities: the district is built on ancient citrus plantations. Commercial centers to Camelback Center and the Biltmore area for luxury shopping will satisfy people with the easy budget. It is a chic area where to stay in Phoenix, but nevertheless ideal to explore the paths of the Phoenix Mountain Reserve : la Cholla Trail, a 3.2-kilometre ride offering exceptional views of the city. Attention, some passages are abrupt and the temperature can be extreme. It is therefore better to go as soon as the day goes because it can make 30°C from dawn!
