Formerly dedicated to the industry, this neighbourhood has been a place for art, culture, design and architecture for several years. Take a tour of the Market im Viadukt, a huge covered market in which fine grocery stores, trendy cafés, nightclubs, fashion boutiques and art galleries mix. Sleeping in Zurich, in the western part rather than in the center will obviously be more economical but Swiss city obliges, prices remain very high housing issue. Opt for other alternatives than the hotel to stay in this neighborhood.
