New York is a fairly expensive city in terms of housing and it is quite difficult to find good hotels for "reasonable" prices. So get ready to get your wallet out.

In New York, you will only find hotels less than €10.00 per night and it will be necessary for this price to be satisfied with tiny rooms and minimum service or simply from out of Manhattan to stay in other sectors that are more distant and therefore less expensive. Yet it is a shame to deprive yourself of living in Manhattan. When you leave on a holiday in New York, you want to live like a New Yorker and taste this special atmosphere that reigns in Manhattan.

Midtown is a very lively and luxurious neighborhood, including Times Square , the Empire State Building, the Chrysler Building, the famous 5th Avenue and its stores. A place particularly appreciated by tourists to start the Manhattan tour and shopping.

Here are a few hotels in New York where you can both be in Midtown in Manhattan and sleep comfortably.

Rogers Smith

From 150€

The Rogers Smith is a hotel located on Lexington Avenue very well located in Midtown, very central and close to all major metro lines. Easily accessible from JFK. The hotel’s Rooftop is pleasant as well as the very comfortable rooms.

Casablanca Hotel

From 250€

The Casablanca Hotel is a boutique hotel located 2 steps from Times Square in a lively neighborhood without being very noisy. The hotel offers breakfast and a Vin/Fromage aperitif every evening from 5pm to 8pm.

373 Fifth Avenue

From 130€

Hotel 373 Fifth Avenue is also very central very close to the Empire State Building. A little further than the previous two hotels of the metro mouths (about 5 minutes walk), it is still a good hotel in Midtown at the level of value/price ratio.

DoubleTree by Hilton Metropolitan

From 180€

The DoubleTree by Hilton Metropolitan New York City is located a little bit more "uptown" compared to Rogers Smith on Lexington Avenue and therefore a little less central but still quite close to everything because just a step away from Metro Station 51 Street Station.

Row NYC at Times Square

From 110€

The Row NYC at Times Square is located in Midtown West very close to Times Square in a slightly more lively area than on Lexington Avenue and closer to Penn Station (if you arrive from Newark for example). The rooms are not as large as the other rooms of previous hotels but quite correct for the price in Manhattan Midtown.
