Visit the memorial and the September 11th bombing museum, and discover how New York rebuilt after this terrible drama.
The events of September 11, 2001 have forever changed the face of America and our eyes on the world. In total, nearly 3,000 victims lost their lives because of the attacks on the World Trade Center. The names of the victims are marked, engraved forever in the bronze of the two basins that replace today the base of the two twin towers. A moving, indescribable place. To remember, to commemorate those who perished during this terrorist attack, it is now possible to visit, with the assistance of a guide, the memorial of September 11 and the museum of 9/11 in New York.
A special visit
During this visit not like the others, you will be able to explore the different sites of the September 11 Memorial: your journey will start with the St Paul Chapel which is today the place of gathering of all the families and friends of the victims.
Your guided tour continues with the various memorial sites such as the American Express 11 Tears Memorial, the Winter Garden, the Survivor’s Tree or the Firemean’s Memorial as a souvenir to the many firefighters who died that day.
This museum is part of New York CityPASS
Finally, your guided tour ends with Ground Zero where you will discover the September 11 Memorial which is composed of large basins, which are located in the footprints of the two towers. After this visit to the memorial, your guide will take you to the 9/11 museum and you will be able to explore the exhibition spaces freely. It should be noted that the museum's visit is, however, non-guided.

The highlights of the visit
The first intense moment is where you’re going to walk around two gigantic basins that represent the precise location of the World Trade Center Twin Towers. Each of these basins is 4,000 square meters. Around the large waterfalls, you can read the names of the 3000 victims. The Survivor’s Stairs is the vestiges of the stairs that were taken by hundreds of survivors during their flight.
Finally, another highlight is the discovery of the "Slurry Wall", a vestige of the last support wall of the World Trade Center. Hundreds of messages and posters of missing people are hanging there.
The guided tour of the September 11 memorial is 2 hours by not counting the entrance to the museum.
