It is in this place that the composer created some of his most beautiful masterpieces. Only the first floor of the museum remained in its original state and today presents the historic archives of the world-famous orchestra.

Predestined to become a museum dedicated to art, the Maison de la Musique quickly proved ideal to illustrate the Austrian culture of music. Thus, in 2000, Haus der Musik opened its doors to the public, inviting them to discover the timeless face of the city, that orchestrated by classical music.

In 2015, the venues radiate around the world: the Maison de la Musique becomes the first Austrian museum to have signed an agreement with another country (Mexico), for the construction of a music museum based on that of coming: the Casa de La Música de Viena en Puebla.

Today, the Maison de la Musique has nearly three million visitors and attracts a little more every year. From enthusiasts to amateurs, she invites to discover the great love story that has always united Vienna and music...
