History of Ferrari Land in PortAventura

In 2010 is inaugurated Abu Dhabi the first theme park dedicated to the Italian brand Ferrari. After this first inauguration, Ferrari receives numerous requests in Europe. Finally, the Catalan and PortAventura project is chosen in 2014.
Thus, the first stone of the park was laid on May 7, 2015 in the presence of the famous German pilot Sebastian Vettel , and this on the eve of the Grand Prix Automobile of Spain 2015 which takes place from 8 to 10 May on the Barcelona circuit! A year after the construction site began, a first coat of arms of the cabre horse appeared in Salou.
It is April 7, 2017 that the Ferrari Land Park opens its doors, in the presence of Piero Ferrari , the son of the founder of Enzo Ferrari, and of the pilot Marc Gené among other celebrities. In 2017, more than 700,000 visitors came to discover and rediscover this new unique theme park in Europe!

The attractions of Ferrari Land
The main attraction of Ferrari Land is certainly the Ferrari Experience . Located in a 4km2 building in the heart of the park, it offers a complete immersion in Ferrari's GT and F1 thanks to two innovative attractions:
- The Racing Legends that makes you experience the crazy F1TM experience
- The Flying Dreams which offers an extraordinary journey aboard a Ferrari GT and around the world!
In the building you can also discover the Ferrari Land Gallery , an interactive museum in which you will learn more about the details of the history of the mythical Italian stable!
Visiting Ferrari Land in PortAventura will also be an opportunity to experience 3 powerful attractions with strong sensations such as Red Force a vertical accelerator that reaches 180 km/hour in 5 seconds, or Thrill Towers , a 55 metre free fall tower and a bounce tower, which throws you up and down to get a beautiful adrenaline thrust!
Families or friends will also be able to challenge Maranello Grand Race , a large racing circuit of 570 meters. You can also experience a true F1TM simulator with the Pole Position Challenge , which includes 8 semi-professional simulators, or put you in the skin of a F1 mechanic with the Pit Stop Record attraction.

How do I go to Ferrariland?
To visit Ferrari Land in PortAventura and access the complex, there are many possibilities that also depend on your starting point.
Here are the main ways to access the Ferrari Land theme park:
- By plane
If you fly to Spain, you can land in Barcelona at the Prat de Llobregat airport located less than an hour away from the park, or at Reus Airport, just 15 minutes away from Ferrari Land. You can easily find regular flights from France to Spain. To compare flights, you can also help you to Ulysses .
Once at the airport, you can visit Ferrari Land in PortAventura thanks to the taxis , available at the official station at the airport exit, or at shuttles book before arrival. The company of bus Plana also has a regular line from both airports to PortAventura World.
You can also rent a car directly to the airport (or Barcelona). It is a good way of transport to optimize your journeys during your stay.
- By train
The line R-16 Rodalies de Catalunya has a stop in PortAventura World. If you choose this option, you can buy entry tickets including a free train return via this line.
- By car
To visit Ferrariland in PortAventura, you will need to borrow A-7 . Count 1H20 by car from Barcelona to reach the complex.

HORARI
It is possible to visit Ferrari Land in PortAventura d’Aventura April to December . The park is closed from January 6 to early April, as well as during the week in November and December.
Ferrari Land’s schedules also vary throughout the year:
- From 10.30 a.m. to 7 p.m. from 22 June to 7 September (High Season)
- From 10:30 to 17:00 during the Low Season
- From 6pm to 7pm during exceptional openings

RATES
To visit Ferrari Land in PortAventura, you can enjoy combined inputs between the three parks or buy an entry for Ferrari Land only:
Low season:
- Adults: 20€ (via Internet) and 22€ (guichete)
- Junior (4-10 years old) and Senior (from 60 years old): 18€ (via Internet) - 19€ (guichete)
High season:
- Adults: 22€ (via Internet) and 24€ (guichete)
- Junior and Senior: 19€ (via Internet) – 21€ (guichete)
Note that there are some Special rates for people with reduced mobility, large families and groups. For people with reduced mobility, tickets are only available at the park window.

How long does it take to visit Ferrari Land in PortAventura? To fully enjoy, a whole day is necessary to visit the park: it will allow you to enjoy the attractions without having to run after the time. What size for what attractions? Several park attractions are subject to a minimum size. To find out what attractions you can do according to your size, you can view map of attractions which lists the size required for each of them. Is it possible to get out of the park and go home again? It is possible to enter and exit as long as you keep your entry. Don’t forget to make you stamp out for proof. Can we take our own picnic inside the park? As in many parks, food from outside is prohibited. However, you can easily eat in the park restaurants. Is the park accessible to people with reduced mobility? Yes, the park is accessible to people with reduced mobility. To benefit from the discounts at the counter, they must meet the following conditions: legally recognized disability rates of at least 33% and proven reduced mobility. Are pets allowed? Animals are not accepted in the park, nor in hotels except guide dogs. You can however leave your companions in the kennel of PortAventura.
