Inom Vallgraven
It is the name of the island surrounded by a small canal around the city centre of Göteborg. It is located a few meters from the central station, from which one can arrive by sea to Delawaremonumentet a monument carved by Carl Milles (1875-1955) – a Swedish sculptor – dedicated to the colony of New Sweden. On both sides of the canal, do not miss the Gothenburg Museum, the Maritiman Museum, the Museum of Medicine History. Food side, stroll through the aisles Stora Saluhallen , a market covered with fresh products where to taste local specialties (fromages, charcuterie, fish and seafood). The Botanical Garden and Palm House Park and its large glasshouse will offer you a haven of peace in the heart of the city. Walk on the driveway Nya Allén , crossing the park Kungsparken , to enjoy an urban life offering its lot of tranquility. If the city centre is – as often – the best area to stay in Göteborg,

Haga
In the south-west of the city centre, Haga symbolizes the former workers’ quarter of Göteborg. Nestled at the foot of the hill Skansparken , the Haga district has become gentrified and has become a den of bobos and trendy young people of the city, and rightly as follows: the district is a maze of paved alleys with typical wooden houses, antique galleries and cafés, restaurants and bars where to go out in the evening. In fact, the area is animated by day and night and is less tourist than the city centre, which will not fail to make the happiness of visitors fleeing the hordes of tourists who came to visit Göteborg only to photograph historical monuments. If you like lively, quiet and festive areas, this is where you have to stay in Gothenburg.

Vasagatan
Are you young, party, single or travel between friends? This is where you have to stay in Gothenburg: this district is the university district, where you will find a population of young noctambules, especially during the weekend evenings. The bourgeois architecture of the 19th century and many green spaces scatter the streets of the neighborhood. It’s on the side of the Kungsports Avenyn , a kind of " Champs-Élysées" of Göteborg, which we will find most of the bars, restaurants and discotheques where to party.
