There are three types of tickets for the Aerobus:

• The one-way ticket (€3.60): valid for a trip on one of the 3 lines of the Aérobus.
• The return ticket (€5.40): valid for a return trip to/from the airport on one of the three lines of the Aerobus. The return can be used up to 120 days after the first use.
• The ticket 48h Pass (7.20€): valid for 48h on the 3 lines of the Aerobus

2. Cheapest: metro transfer

The red line of the Lisbon metro was extended in 2012, allowing airport transfer to Lisbon by subway (and vice versa). It’s easy: there’s only one line at the airport and you can’t be mistaken, we’re at the terminus. To go from the city centre to the airport, look for the airport station on the map of public transport in Lisbon and plan 40 minutes (with a change to Alameda).
