By bus or shuttle
Several buses, coaches and shuttles serve the Paris-Charles de Gaulle airport! This means of transport is one of the most economical. However, the bus is obviously quite slow, especially if you take it during peak hours. For your transfer between the Roissy-Charles de Gaulle airport and Paris, you can opt for the various airport shuttles:
- The Bus Direct
This shuttle service offers two practical lines to reach Paris.
Line 2
Line 2 goes to Star, Porte-Maillot/Palais des Congrès, Eiffel Tower/Suffren. It operates every day, from 5:30 to 11:30 from the airport and 5h00 to 22h00 From the Eiffel Tower.

- At the level Arrivals door 32 for Terminal 1 - At door C10 for Terminal 2A-2C-2D - At the E8 or F9 door for Terminal 2E-2F
Line 4
Line 4 goes to Gare de Lyon and Gare Montparnasse. Rates are almost similar to Line 2. The journey lasts between 40 minutes and 1h20 depending on the stop. Line 4 also operates daily, from 5:45 to 22:45 from the airport and 5:15 to 9:45 from Gare Montparnasse.
Where are the stops?
- At the level Arrivals door 32 for Terminal 1 - At door C10 for Terminal 2A-2C - At door D14 for Terminal 2B-2D - At E8 or F9 doors for Terminal 2E-2F
- Kingssybus
The Navettes Roissybus go to the Opéra stop. From Opera, the shuttles operate from 5:15 to 00:30 and 6:00 to 00:30 from the airport. The journey to the center of Paris lasts between 45 to 60 minutes .
As a general rule, we recommend that you book your transfer in advance between the Roissy-Charles de Gaulle airport and Paris. You will not have any bad surprises!

- Stops for this shuttle are at 2A-2C, 2E-2F, 2B2D, 3 and 1. - The shuttle (free) N2 connects terminal 2G to terminal 2F.
- Public buses
On public transport, you can use the following lines:
- ♪ bus 350 to Porte de la Chapelle; - La line 19 to Torcy RER; - ♪ bus 351 to Place de la Nation; - The N140 to Gare d’Aulnay on Bois and Gare de l’Est; - The Noctilien N143 to Gare du Nord and Gare de l’Est.
By train

To easily reach the city centre or the Roissy-Charles de Gaulle airport, you can also opt for the RER! It is usually quite simple to borrow it. Everything is pretty well indicated, with plans and messages by speakers at each station. This means of transport is also more comfortable and faster than the bus. It is still necessary to anticipate its inconveniences, such as peak hours and night hours.
To go and come to RER, you can borrow the stations at the terminals 1 and 3 or terminals 2 ACDEF and G .
Note : Free shuttle N2 connects terminal 2G to terminal 2F.
Private shuttle
Between the shared shuttle and the taxi, you have the private shuttle. This shuttle is usually a luxurious car that you book in advance for a group or for yourself if you want to be quiet. Your driver will welcome you when you arrive at the airport and then drop you to your hotel in central Paris.
This is a means of transport reliable, secure and comfortable especially at night. However, it is also one of the most expensive.
By taxi from and to the airport
The taxi is a comfortable and simple solution to reach your hotel or apartment rental in central Paris. However, you will have to plan the budget! A taxi package is applied for races from the capital to Parisian airports and vice versa.
Where are the stops?
At the airport, taxis are at your disposal out of the delivery area your arrival terminal. It should be noted that official taxis do not come to ask you at the exit of a terminal and still park at the taxi terminal. They also have a light sign, a license plate outside the vehicle and a taximeter inside.

Cheapest
- Public bus : count 6€ for buses 350 and 351, 2€ for the 19 and 7,60€ for the Noctilians.
- Train (RER) : the journey costs about ten euros. For this, you will need a special airport ticket. The RER B line is certainly one of the most economical and practical ways to transfer between the Roissy-Charles de Gaulle airport and Paris.
- Roissy bus : here, count €13.70 per person. Note that the N2 is it, free of charge.
Most expensive
- Direct bus : count 18€ for an adult (12 years and older) and 10€ for a child. For a return trip, the rates are 31€ for adults and 20€ for children. The journey takes between 1h10 and 1h20. Bus Direct shuttles charge an extra euro for purchases from the driver. Transfers are free for children under the age of 4.
- Private shuttle : because it is a private service, the shuttle with a driver costs a little more. Count on average 20€ per person.
- Taxi : you have to count 50€ for a trip on the right bank and 55€ on the left bank.
