Paris-Orly Airport is the second largest airport in France after Roissy-Charles-de-Gaulle Airport. Because of its importance, this air hub is well served and offers you many options for your transfers. Located 10 kilometres south of Paris, transferring between Orly Airport and Paris is thus easy.

By bus or shuttle: the cheapest

Many buses and shuttles serve Orly Airport. This means of transport is obviously one of the most economical. However, it is also one of the slowest, especially if you borrow it during peak hours. For your transfer between Orly Airport and Paris, you can choose between different shuttles:
The Bus Direct
Duration : 60 minutes (Paris-Etoile), 50 minutes (Trocadéro), 40 minutes (Gare Montparnasse)
Rates : 12€ for an adult, 7€ for a child (+1€ for purchases from the driver), free for less than 4 years
Schedule service every 20 minutes. Every day, 6h00-0h30 (Orly Airport)/ 5h50-23h30 (Paris-Etoile)
This shuttle service offers a convenient line to reach Paris. The Bus Direct Line 1 goes every day of the year to Paris-Étoile, via Trocadéro, the Eiffel Tower and the Gare Montparnasse. Buses circulate around 20 minutes.
Bus Direct Line 1 serves Orly 1-2-3-4. All you have to do is follow the Bus signal to reach the nearest stop. These are:
- Orly 1-2-3 Level 0, Gate 18a
- Orly 4 Level 0, Door 47d or Door 48a
Orlybus
Duration approximately 30 minutes
Rates : €8.70 for a journey from or to Paris
Schedule service every 10-20 minutes. Every day, 6h00-0h30 (Orly Airport) / 5h35-minuit (Paris and Place Denfert Rochereau)
Orlybus also offers a convenient bus line to reach Paris. She goes to Place Denfert Rochereau every day. Orlybus dessert Orly 1-2-3-4 (from Paris) and Orly 4 (to Paris).
As with Bus Direct, just follow the Bus:
- Orly 4 Level 0, Gate 47d, Stop 5
Public buses
Duration : about 30 minutes (line 183) / 25 minutes (Noctilien)
Rates : 2€ (line 183) / 6€ (Noctilien)
Schedule : service every 30 minutes, from 5h35 to 00h15 (line 183) / service every 30 to 60 minutes, all night (Noctilian)
On public transport, you can use Line 183 or Noctilien.
- 183 dessert Pont de Rungis (RER C) and finishes in Paris-Porte de Choisy.
- The Noctilian it integrates the line N131 (which is also the most recommended). It serves both terminals and is faster than the other 3, N22, N31 and N144. The N131 goes to Gare de Lyon in about 25 minutes.
As with the shuttles, you only have to follow the Bus signal to reach the stops. All lines have a stop at Orly 4, the N131 also has a stop at Orly 1-2-3.
In RER: the fastest

Duration : about 25 minutes (RER C and RER B)
Rates : €6.35 (RER C shuttle + RER) / €12.10 (RER B Orlyval + RER)
Trains in RER B and C lines are located near Orly Airport.
RER C
The closest stop to RER C is in Pont de Rungis. To reach it, you will have to take the Go C Paris shuttle.
The stops are:
- Orly 1-2 Level 0, Gate 15a, Stop 7
- Orly 4 Door 47d
RER B
For the RER B, the nearest stop is in Antony. To reach it, you will need to borrow the Orlyval automatic shuttle. Once you arrive at the RER B stop, make sure that the row is at Massy-Palaiseau or St Rémy-lès-Chevreuse.
The stops are:
- Orly 1 Level 1, near Door 12d
- Orly 4 Level 0, door 48a
Private shuttle: the most comfortable

The private shuttle is between the shared shuttle and the taxi. It is usually a luxurious car reserved in advance for a group or for you alone. Your driver will welcome you when you arrive at the airport and then drop you to your hotel in central Paris.
This means of transport is one of the most reliable, secure and comfortable, especially at night. However, it is also one of the most expensive. To reach your private shuttle, you will need to follow the signs Pre-ordered vehicles .
By taxi from and to the airport: the most available

The taxi is a simple and comfortable solution to reach the centre of Paris. A taxi package is applied for races from the capital to Parisian airports and vice versa. At the airport, taxi stations are located in front of the terminals . You just have to follow the signage Taxis out of the baggage delivery room.
Attention only vehicles located in official taxi stations are allowed to operate. We recommend that you decline any transport proposal in terminals, as from unofficial taxis.
You can also opt for them shared taxis which operate on the carpool model. They allow a certain economy compared to a private taxi. The reservation is mandatory and the price of the race is fixed in advance and guaranteed. You will find them for pre-ordered vehicles, as for private shuttles.
Rent a car at Orly Airport
You come to visit Paris for several days and you planned to discover other places in the area? The rental of a car directly at Orly Airport is then a good solution.
