Depending on your destination, there are three bus lines that transfer between Fuerteventura Airport and the rest of the island.

Bus line 3

The bus line 3 transfers the airport of Fuerteventura and the capital, Puerto del Rosario, as well as the tourist areas such as the Caleta de Fuste or the Salinas. If you go to the capital, the journey is only from 15 minutes .

The bus makes the trip every 30 minutes :

• Weekly: Between 6:30 and midnight.
• Sunday and holidays: the frequency of the bus is 1 hour.

We need to plan €1.45 to go to your destination. The ticket is purchased directly from the bus driver. Allow the exchange, or at least five euros, or even ten euros maximum. Some drivers refuse to make the change if you give them a ticket of twenty euros.

Bus line 10

From Fuerteventura Airport, bus line 10 is to Puerto del Rosario and Morro Jable Beach Station, south of the island. It will be necessary to anticipate 1:30 to get to Morro Jable from Fuerteventura Airport. The ticket price to go south of the island from Fuerteventura Airport is from 9,70€.

If you want to go there, look well before the bus schedules:

• Monday to Friday : 4 trips are planned from the airport (9h, 13h45, 16h and 18h)
• Saturday : 3 trips are planned from the airport (9h, 13h45, and 18h)
• Sunday : 2 trips are planned from the airport (1pm and 6pm)

Bus line 16

The bus line 16 transfers between the airport of Fuerteventura, Puerto del Rosario and the city of Gran Tarajal. Here again, there are few buses that go to this destination, so you will have to check the bus schedules between Fuerteventura Airport and Gran Tarajal. Going to Gran Tarajal from Fuerteventura Airport is done in 45 minutes for a price of 5,90€.

• Monday to Saturday : 4 trips are planned from the airport (9:30, 15:15, 17:30 and 19:30).
• Sunday : 2 trips are planned from the airport (9:30 and 17:30)

Note: If you want to go to other destinations, you will need to make a correspondence.

• If you would like to go to Corralejo : you will have to take line 3, 10 or 16 towards Puerte de Rosario. From here you will have to get on the bus to Line 6 for Corralejo. The journey lasts 40 minutes for a cost of €3.40.

The fastest: the taxi

If you want to save time to transfer between Fuerteventura Airport and the rest of the island, the taxi remains the best solution. Whatever your point of arrival, the taxi will take you there minimum time . The price and duration will depend on your hotel’s address.
