Line 9 of the metro transfers between Barcelona Airport and the city centre. Since the metro network of Catalan capital is very developed, you can easily get to your hotel.

From Barcelona Airport, it is very easy to find the metro to get to the city centre. It is at the exit of each terminal, whether T1 or T2. The vending machines are located in the metro station. Just buy your ticket and validate it before entering the subway.

The simplest: the aerobus shuttle

The Aerobus shuttle operates the transfer between Barcelona Airport and the centre. This is the official Barcelona airport shuttle service. It deposits you at the strategic sites of the Catalan capital. Plaça Catalunya, Plaça Espanya, Urgell and Plaça Universitat are the stops of this shuttle.

Aerobus vehicles offer a comfortable ride with a convenient location for luggage, free Wi-Fi, USB ports and a local TV channel.

There are two Aerobus shuttles: A1 (for terminal 1) and A2 (for terminal 2). Don't be mistaken when you get back, because you might find yourself in the wrong terminal.

Note that the stops differ depending on whether you leave Plaça Catalunya or the airport.

The most convenient: the city bus

bus line 46 operates the transfer between Barcelona Airport and the centre. From the T1 or T2 terminal, you arrive at Plaça Espanya in the heart of the capital of Catalonia. If you land at Terminal T1, the bus stop is located at the exit to the left of the aerobus. And if you land at terminal T2, there are two stops; at the exit of terminals T2b and T2c. You will find them easily thanks to the inscription TMB (Transport Metropolitans de Barcelona) written in red.

Very convenient, bus 46 allows you to use the Map Hola BCN! It is the public transport card in Barcelona that allows you to visit the city throughout your stay.

For night travelers, there are also buses that transfer between Barcelona Airport and the centre. This is the bus N17 and N16 .
