The beaches of the largest island of the Balearic Islands are scattered on the majorcan coastline and are tested as precious treasures. Here, the Mediterranean again demonstrates its incredible talent: with the strength of wind and rain, it has eroded the earth and stone until the creation of absolutely fantastic coves.

1. Cala Gat, almost minorquine

2. Cala Mondrago, romantic

On foot or by bike, you can reach nearby beaches and discover one of the most spectacular areas of the island.

3. Es Trenc, renowned

4. Cala Formentor, majestic

The show is reversing. In addition to the shredded and planted peaks like natural ramparts, Cala Formentor offers the superb mix of mountains and Azurean streams.

5. Playa de Muro, two in one

At the vertical of the immaculate dunes, the warm and gently sloping waters of the Muro playa sign the perfect postcard landscape. On the beach, the atmospheres are diverse.

On the one hand you find the small tribes of restaurants, cafes and floating machines. On the other, the savage sand banks, in the shade of the pines that embalming the resin, plebiscited by some nudists.

6. Playa des Coll Baix, confidential

7. Cala Tuent, green

8. Cala Pi, original and sheltered

  • 📍 Location: on the southwest side, not far from the capital Palma de Mallorca
  • Attempts: one of the best places to practice snorkeling
  • i in Good to know: need to get off the stairs quite steep to get to the beach

If its golden sand is absolutely splendid, Cala Pi stands out more by its pines and its encased configuration. Drawn between two cliffs, the landscape evokes a Mediterranean fjord.

In addition, Cala Pi, under the protection of its 16th century defence tower, is one of the most sheltered natural anchorages of the island. This characteristic makes the beach particularly ideal to observe the seabed.

9. Playa de Alcudia, entertaining

10. Cala Llombards, terrestrial and maritime

The gentle reliefs of Cala Llombard are among the most preserved of the island. Only a few villages overlooking the hill and declining fishing houses have their place in this natural landscape.

Otherwise, the frame is shaped only not pines, overturning cliffs and waters that oscillate between emerald green and deep blue.
