Photographer Mohammad Domiri takes us inside the beautiful places of worship in Iran
Mohammad Domiri , a talented architecture photographer from Mazandéran, north of Iran, takes magnificent photos of the grandiose architecture of mosques throughout the Middle East. The architecture of the Middle East is often recognized for elegant curves of its arches and spiral columns , that we find in all the photos of the 23-year-old photographer. Many historical sites that Mohammad Domiri captures are decorated with colorful stained-glass windows, geometric decorations and carefully detailed mosaics, so that he takes his photos with a wide-angle lens to ensure that he captures all these details. His photos show us a picture real color kaleidoscope on the ceilings of these places of worship.
Because they are historical buildings, many of these mosques impose heavy restrictions on photography, and make photos like Mohammad is very rare.

The temples of the Middle East are famous for their decorated ceilings, like this one in the mosque of Sheikh Lotfallah in Ispahan.
Once inside the places of worship with complex designs, Domiri focuses on the ceiling drawings, on the columns and the stained glass to find inspiration, as here in the Nasir-ol-Molk Mosque.

Mohammad Domiri creates his works using a variety of techniques such as panoramic photos. This is the ceiling of the Dolat Abad pavilion in Yazd.
Mohammad Domiri says that “maybe some of these historic sites will no longer exist in 20 years or will change much for such a long time.” “When I capture these images, I think about how they will be preserved and I hope in the future that people will be able to see their beauty.”
And we're hoping to see them in real soon, aren't you?
