The Tour de la Vanoise

This trek in the Alps crosses the first French national park. It turns out to be technically accessible but has a rather substantial daily denial. It passes through the heart of the massif, between the Tarentaise and the Maurienne.

Discover Tour du Queyras , integral version, by GR58: a reference for who appreciates the great authentic spaces. The itinerary is carried out on a week, crossing pass, villages, high valleys and glacial lakes. It crosses one of the highest sectors in the Hautes-Alpes region. The hikers will be able to rub themselves to the ascent of two easy summits including a “3000”. During your progression, you will attend exciting animations.

Two evenings of astronomy and an introduction to traditional wood sculpture with a Queyras craftsman are offered. From the Ceillac valley to the Furfande alpine chalets passing through the Peas pass or the Maison-du-Roy dam, the adventure reserves beautiful mountain memories!

The Tour du Mont Viso has this in particular that it crosses two countries: France, the Hautes-Alpes side, and Italy. This trek in the Alps begins in the highest city of Europe: Briançon, sub-prefecture of the department of Hautes-Alpes. You will cross the Partias Natural Reserve to reach the Trancoulette Pass, between glacial moraines and meadows. Vallouise, Champsaur, Valgaudemar, Oisans: the wildest valleys in the area will no longer have any secret for you. The itinerary faces some of the emblematic peaks of the Ecrins massif like the Meije, a monument of 3,983 metres.

The Great Paradise Tower

From Bourg-Saint-Maurice, you will begin a journey through the grandiose valleys of the Grand-Paradis National Park. The "High Route des Rois" crosses the Natural Park of the Maritime Alps. The course begins in Santa Anna di Valdieri and then wins the Livio Bianco refuge through pastures and forests. From there, beautiful paths in balconies will lead you to a wide plateau with three lakes of altitude. Sustained climbs will sometimes ask you to "take hands" to climb small rocky blocks.

From the Buch climb to the peaks of Costa Chiggia, the trail crosses sublime landscapes. You will have the opportunity to contemplate the picturesque San Sebastiano chapel, built in 1450, richly decorated with frescoes. The visit precedes a typical pedestrian gastronomic stop. Miam!

The progression continues on ancient mule paths before climbing the Sarsassi Point and its 2,460 meters high. It is all the val Maira that unfolds its treasures for the greatest happiness of the participants. Ideal between June and October, we recommend this route to hikers wishing to combine walking and discovering heritage.

The best treks in the Swiss Alps

Chamonix - Zermatt

Haute Route Chamonix-Zermatt is certainly the most famous ski raid in the Alps since the early twentieth century. In the summer, this glacial raid between Swiss valleys and alpine villages allows to connect the two alpine cities by walking. By starting your hike through the Posettes trail you will reach the first day the Swiss village of Trient. A short transfer will lead you to the pass of Prafleuri and its refuge.

A good night will be essential to begin the climb to the Roux pass and the descent to the extraordinary val of Herren. The route continues to the beautiful villages of Grimentz and Zinal and then to the pass of the Forcletta. You will overlook the Gruben valley and face the Tourtemagne and Brunesshorn glaciers. The pass of Augstbord precedes the triumphal finish in Zermatt. By lifting your head, you will admire the emblem of Swiss territory, the mythical Cervin. Sublime!

The Tour du Cervin
