The site is located about 3 kilometers from the beach of Santa Maria. It is one of the most famous diving spots in Cape Verde due to its varied fauna and flora.

The dive starts on a cornice with yellow polyps where you can meet fish benches. The site allows to descend up to 35 metres of depth and to observe daurades, marlins, crustaceans, rays including mantas rays. If you are lucky, you may have the surprise to see whale sharks there.
