1. The wreck Um El Faroud

The wreck of Um El Faroud rests more than 30 metres deep. The top of the chimney is 20 metres away. Former oil tanker of 10,000 tons navigating between Libya and Libya Italy , it was damaged and then hit in 1995.

Long 115 meters, it is now one of the most popular diving sites on the island. Located off Zurrieq, on the South Coast, this dive spot in Malta is today a landmark of local fauna and flora. You'll find barracudas and squids, as well as various fish.

Accessible to all, it has many different small spots up to 15 meters deep. There are also some small caves and tunnels. Underwater fauna is very active here and you can admire many local species.
