1. Kalafkonia reef

- ♫ ♫ Level: beginner to confirmed
- 🐚 Faune and flora: barracudas, mules, red
Put on a stretcher and palms, you start right away with one of the most beautiful dive sites in Mykonos. You embark on a zodiac for only 6 minutes from the beach of Lia. Arrived on the spot, everyone teamed up and left behind. Just the mask under the water, it’s a magical aquatic ballet that we discover. Hundreds of small multi-colored fish grow above a healthy reef. But this is not over, because the site extends over a beautiful surface and presents a particular topography.
You evolve between large rock formations and pinacles that rise to the surface, bringing together a dense marine life. It is not uncommon to fall on a barracudas bench that patiently wait for the time of the hunt. The spectacle of their spiral displacement, the group forming a kind of cyclone, always leaves an unforgettable memory to the divers who attend. In addition to marine life, the site is filled with ancient amphlets, some in pieces, others almost intact. Of course, we touch with the eyes, because all these remains have an important archaeological interest. With depths ranging from 5 to 35 metres, this diving site in Mykonos is accessible at all divers levels.
2. Lia reef

Training divers can do their exercises quietly in shallow waters. Meanwhile, those who perform their diving baptism in Mykonos will discover the wonders of the underwater world. Multicolor sponges tap the background, creating a real water garden.
The confirmed divers will descend a little further, looking for nudibranches. These small sea slugs are available in hundreds of species of different shapes and colors, all more beautiful than others. They like to feed on the sponges, but you will have to open the eye to deny them, because they only measure a few centimeters long!
3. Agia Anna

Still close to the beach of Lia, this dive site in Mykonos is a tomb that starts at 4 meters deep. The wall then descends to 26 metres and serves as a refuge for a wide variety of marine species. You will be subjugated by the sponges that have colonized the cliff, offering refuge to all kinds of inhabitants. Try to uncover the walls that hide in the anfractuosities, and the octopuses that camouflage on the rock. They are able to take the color and appearance of the environment in which they are located, which makes them almost undetectable.
The visibility, which can reach the 40 meters, allows to appreciate the landscape as a whole, from the bottom to the surface. Do not forget to look in blue or predators of larger sizes sometimes cross. You may have the chance to see a tuna or a large solitary barracuda!

You empty your vest to descend gently, and start distinguishing the imposing shape of the boat that slept on a flank.
The top of the wreckage is 18 metres away, so you will have to hold a level 2 or advanced open water patent to fully enjoy this dive in Mykonos. The freighter is in good condition and it is possible to make small penetrations in different rooms. You will observe the mat, the propeller, or bags of goods in the holds. The fish benches that turn over the wreck add to the magic of the moment.
