1. Dubrovnik, Croatia

Dubrovnik is a fortified city that overlooks the Adriatic Sea south of Croatia. It is one of the most popular tourist destinations in the Mediterranean for its unique architecture, its charm and its heritage. The city is a UNESCO World Heritage Site. It is also one of the main filming sites of the series, since here is the “iron throne”: the island of Lokrum or the fort of Lovrienac are part of the flagship places of “ Port-Réal ".
2. Vatnajökull National Park, Iceland

The Vatnajökull National Park is the largest glacier in Iceland and the largest national park in Europe. It is well known for its spectacular landscapes and wildlife. This great glacier could not be better place to turn the scenes north of Wall . Watch out for the white walkers!

The Tollymore Forest Park is located in Bryansford, close to Newcastle in Northern Ireland. This park offers superb terrestrial and marine landscapes, and has countless trails. You could borrow one of them and imagine going back to Winterfell with Arya.
4. Castle of Doune, Stirling, Scotland

The castle of Doune was built towards the end of the 13th and early 14th century for the Duke of Albany. It is still standing and well preserved today. The castle of Doune was perfect to represent Winterfell , the "Stark" house. Beware, because winter comes... ( winter is coming )
5. Dark Hedges, Northern Ireland

Dark Hedges is a natural tree tunnel very famous, located in Armoy, Northern Ireland (again). The beech that stretched along this path has been there for more than two centuries. Mdina is the former capital of Malta, and it is a city that enjoys a rich culture and history. It is famous for being the welcoming city of the Apostle St. Paul, after he was sinking on the archipelago more than 4,000 years ago.
