Book your ticket for the One World Observatory & the guided tour of the September 11 Memorial.
In tribute to the victims of the September 11, 2001 attacks in New York, the city erected a memorial on September 11 so that everyone can remember. And to show that the Americans are going forward, that they want to live, that they want to exceed their fears, that they look in front of them while keeping in their hearts the memory of this atrocious day, to demonstrate that life is still regaining its rights, a building emerged from the ground on the new World Trade Center site: the One World .
One World Center Tower
This gigantic tower (the highest in all New York in front of the 432 Park Avenue and Empire State Building ) is even on the Ground Zero, at the exact location of the September 11, 2001 attacks.
It is part of the Ground Zero site, which includes 6 new frees: the One World Trade Center, the Two World Trade Center (387 meters with 88 floors), the Three World Trade Center (356 meters and 80 floors), the Four World Trade Center (298 meters and 72 floors), the Five World Trade Center (which replaces the old tower destroyed during the attacks) and the Seven World Trade Center (226 meters and 56 floors).
Originally, the tower was called Freedom Tower but it changed its name. This tower, developed under the eyes and knowledge of David Childs, bears very strong symbols: it is truly the sign of the reconstruction of the city and the demonstration of its power.
It has 104 floors, as well as a huge reception hall and a panoramic platform called the One World Observatory, which offers an unprecedented panorama of all New York. It culminates at 541 metres (including antenna) and will, to date, be the largest building in the entire western hemisphere.
The September 11 Memorial
Before or after joining the One World Tower, you will have the opportunity, during your visit, to discover the September 11 Memorial: it is the central element of Ground Zero, the memorial site in honour of the 3000 victims of the terrorist attacks of 2001 but also of 1993.
This is one of the most visited places on the site: today, two large basins are located exactly where the twin towers are located. A moving place filled with restraint.
From now on, book your tickets to discover the September 11 Memorial, but especially to discover the One World Tower in New York and take the Sky Pods, these famous vertiginous elevators which will bring you up to the 102nd floor in 1 minute.
