Ibiza

Ibiza - Eivissa in Catalan – is one of the two arrival points of the tourists. The population is only 50,401 inhabitants, but it shows exponential growth during the summer season. It is the largest city on the island, founded in the 16th century. Dalt Vila, The historic centre is surrounded by walls dating from the Renaissance. By visiting the city of Ibiza, do not miss the port of Eivissa, the ramparts and the cathedral of the Virgin of Snow.

Platja d’en Bossa

The beach resort Playa d’en Bossa is a must-see for those who love the party, the sun and the beach. The coastline is very urbanised – tourist affluence obliges – but if you are young and fair, this is where you have to stay in Ibiza: located near the city of Ibiza, the resort is taken from young adults and despite being between debauchery and ostentation, the prices to stay in Platja d’en Bossa are lower than elsewhere. The beach, 2.5 kilometers long, is filled with vibrant bars of day and night, discotheques but also restaurants and shops. Western Ibiza

The west coast is relatively quiet, compared to the rest of the island. The area remains no less touristy but a more authentic landscape and climate await you. The holidaymakers are looking less for the overvoltage of the East Coast than a tranquillity. If you are, it is on the side of Porroig, Vista Allegre and Es Cubells that you have to look for accommodation in Ibiza.

Sant Antoni de Portmany

Located at the bottom of a natural bay on the west coast, Sant Antoni de Portmany is a former fishing village. Today, it is one of the two drop points for the hundreds of thousands of tourists who come to visit Ibiza every year. With 23,314 souls spread over 126.80 km2, the population inflates – also – from May to October. It is a high holiday place, very popular with British tourists. If you are looking for calm, prefer the surrounding area of the village and not the centre.

You will meet bars and discotheques at once, and the beaches will certainly be crowded every day. The customers are not chic, but rather “average class” and natural: a good point to stay in Ibiza without bathing in a stallion of ostentatious wealth. Between the seaside resort and the city centre, many hotels can find a room to sleep.

North of the island

On the side of Cala de Sant Vicent, Platja des Figueral or Sant Miquel and Portinatx, the atmosphere is rather quiet with forests and agricultural crops, an area appreciated by families and couples fleeing the party. However, you will find many accommodation solutions where to stay.
