Al Souq is the effervescent lung of the city centre of Doha. This is especially the souk district of Doha. This market known for the sale of spices, clothing, carpets, objects and souvenirs is essential. It houses a large number of restaurants and bars in chicha. In addition, it is a neighbourhood considered one of the few to have been able to maintain its authenticity. This historic district is very popular, attracts expats and tourists. Don’t miss visiting the Museum of Islamic Art on the port’s docks. Continue with the National Museum of Qatar. Then go for a walk on the seafront, along the Corniche. The Pearl Monument, iconic in Doha, is nearby. There are many restaurants where to eat. This is definitely one of the best areas to stay in Doha.

Al Hitmi
Al Hitmi is a small neighborhood in the city centre. He joins the souk district, and offers a variety of hotels where to go to sleep one or more nights. The advantage is to be close to the tourist attractions of the city centre, the sea and the Corniche.

Pearl Qatar

The Pearl Qatar is nicknamed the “Arab Riviera”, or the Arab French Riviera. It is an artificial island built with great elegance off West Bay. It covers 4 km2 of land created on the sea, north of the Corniche. There are Mediterranean-style villas, high-end towers and luxury hotels in Doha. The shops, also luxurious, offer the world's leading brands. The seafront offers beautiful walks and is full of beautiful terraces. It is one of the most touristic areas, but on the other hand very popular. If it is a very pleasant area to sleep in Doha, the rent promises to be as high: from 15,000 QR, or €3,705!

West Bay

Located on the cornice, West Bay is a chic and residential area of Doha. It consists of luxury homes and embassies and houses the City Center. This is where the promoters implant the modern towers in the city centre. As we approach it, we need to raise our eyes to the sky. West Bay is the Doha business district. It is nevertheless a district where to stay in Doha if you are interested in: the district is close to French high schools, the French cultural centre and the French Embassy.

Al Dafna

The Al Dafna district is bordering West Bay, south. It is the main business centre in Doha: as such, it is the Skyline district, where the great modern skyscrapers cares for the sky rise. Al Sadd
Al Sadd seems far from downtown. In addition, it is a residential and commercial area. Why choose to stay in Al Sadd? Well, because rents are lower than elsewhere (between 8,000 RQs and 15,000 RQs, between 2,000 € and 3,700 €!). It is a Doha area that seduces singles or couples without children. There are also fruit juice bars, cafés, restaurants and many shops.
