Cheap car park in Naples: where to park in Naples?

If you come to Naples by car, you will need to find a solution to park in Naples. Here are the different parking solutions available on site.

If you spend more than three days in Naples, a car can be useful to explore the surrounding area: make a picnic on the Amalfi coast, visit Pompei and see the Vesuvius , explore the ancient city of Herculanum , classified as a UNESCO World Heritage Site, or visit the Royal Palace of Caserte...

However, whether you are with your own car or have rented one, an essential question is: Where can we park in Naples? Where to find a cheap car park solution in Naples?

Parking in Naples: park in the street by paying

To park in Naples in the street, even by paying, is really not the right solution. First, because driving to Naples is a real limestone! The chaotic traffic of the city, which also makes all its charm, might not charm you once at the wheel. Especially since leaving your car in the street exposes it to all kinds of acts of vandalism: degradation, flight...

But above all, circulating in the city center is very complicated. Naples, like many Italian cities, owns its ZTL, "Landed Trafic Zones": areas where only residents are allowed to circulate. You will find more details on the Naples ZTL (times and delimitations) on the official website of the city of Naples , as well as one interactive map here . Do not play with the ZTLs: they are monitored by cameras, and the fine to get in without permission is rather salted!

We therefore strongly advise this solution, with one exception: if you accommodation in a central hotel with parking. In this case, if the hotel is in the heart of a ZTL, you will have to organize in advance with the reception to obtain an exemption.

If, for various reasons, you still want to park in the street, it will cost you around 2€ an hour. You can pay to the park meters, to the authorized dealers (fuels), and even via certain applications set up by ANM, the company that manages some parking and public transport in Naples.

Parking in Naples : park in the street for free

In white line locations, you can park for free. But again, we don’t recommend this parking solution in Naples, since it forces you to circulate in the city centre.

Especially since parking in Naples in the white areas is not always free... Because often people around the corner are watching cars, and expect a little tip for their services.

Parking in Naples in a closed parking lot is a good idea. You won’t escape the Neapolitan traffic, but at least you can leave your car for whole days, in peace!

specialized sites such as Byclick , you can geolocate the car parks of Naples and especially book them online in advance, convenient! The prices are different: it goes from 9€... to almost 100 € per day! Unlike other cities, there is not really a price difference between indoor and outdoor parking.

Among the most popular, we find the Supergarage ( Via Shelley, 11 ). He has the advantage of being in the city centre on line 1 of the metro (toledo stop). You will have for about 20€ a day. But if you want cheap parking in Naples, put on the Brin parking lot ( Via Benedetto Brin ). It costs less than 10€ a day, and is really close to the city center. It's huge (800 seats): so you shouldn't have a problem finding a place!

To avoid downtown, a cheap car park solution in Naples is from park at the airport . Car parks cost about ten euros a day, and the Alibus shuttle to reach the city center is 5 €. For example, you can park in the GO Parking, for 11 € per day.

Another cheap car park solution in Naples is to park in the ANM parking , relay parkings located for the most part on the outskirts of the city. They are in principle well served by public transport. The prices challenge any competition: the first prices are at €1.5 per day. On the other hand, most of these parking lots are open only the day, and are not monitored. The only ones that can be opened 24 hours a day are Brin parking (aquasiment in the city centre) and Colli Aminei parking (about 1h from the city centre).
