An original and nice idea to eat in one of the most famous restaurants (delicatessen) in Manhattan!
The city of New York is recognized as offering some of the best delicatessen , and Katz’s one of the best. Established since 1888, it is the oldest delicatessen New York. Eat a stuffed sandwich with maximum corned beef or pastrami at home Katz’s will be one of the best memories of your trip to New York. After having lunch or dinner here, you will understand why it is in this restaurant that the scene of the orgasm of the film “ When Harry meets Sally "was toured.

A reputation that is no longer to make
Katz’s is also the only place in the city that still cuts all his pastrami and corned-beef by hand and that makes a huge difference. It is not dared to say that these products are the best available, just like frankfurters , knockwurst , knishes and other typical products of Jewish charcuterie. The ritual of ordering directly with the server/charcutier is one of the other great experiences at Katz’s and in all the other delicatessen. Be ready!

Every week thousands of visitors from all over the world flock to their homes Katz’s Delicatessen to eat in this deli legendary, and delecting the most delicious sandwiches, dishes and meats. But it is really the New Yorkers who made Katz’s Delicatessen what it is, being an integral part of New York’s culture and history. So if their reputation has been made thanks to customers, it is mainly thanks to the quality of the products we come here. Meat is prepared for 30 days to get the best taste, while other restaurants use products to do so in 36 hours... So there is no photo.

A mythical restaurant
We said it is the oldest delis New York. It is also the best. And it is also the most famous. Take the time, after having eaten one (or several) delicious dishes of the map, to look at the pictures on the walls: you will see that all the stars but also the world’s greatest leaders have come to eat here!
What is it on the menu and for what price?
Two sandwiches (hot) are really worth it and are the best of the place:
- Katz’s Pastrami , 16.95 $, smoky or juicy to perfection and hand-cut according to your specifications - Katz’s Corned Beef , $15.95, dried for a whole month, you will finish it at your pace
But you will find a lot of other dishes ranging from cold sandwiches, salads, soups, to other specialities. You can even come and have breakfast. Check out the menu on Katz’s website. Prices are high enough for a delicatessen but we understand it: here we find the best quality in a mythical place. Give even a few tickets to servers in tips .
