What is a Working Holiday Visa?
The Working Holiday Visa (WHV) or the Work Holidays Programme (PVT) includes several temporary visas that allow their holders to travel and work in the countries participating in this programme. This programme was created with the aim of giving many young people from several different countries the chance to go abroad to acquire a professional or personal experience, and to improve their language level according to the country they visit.
What are the participating countries? And what are the conditions for obtaining?
38 countries participate in this programme but Wanderlix has chosen to introduce you to the most important. Countries allowing this type of visa do not necessarily have mutual agreement between them.

Why take Working Holiday Visa insurance?
During the year of your Working Holiday Visa , everything can happen to you, and you will surely not be covered by the public diet or your complementary health. No one is immune to a bad experience, and some countries require you to subscribe to a WHV insurance.
Before you leave, think twice: is what you prefer to leave without insurance and assume that if something happens to you, everything will be your responsibility? Or take insurance that will cost you less than 30€/month being covered for your medical care , your repatriation , and your hospitalization throughout your stay? Don’t forget that a hospitalization can come back very, very expensive (e.g. 10,000 to 12 000€ in Australia).
