El Hierro is similar to La Gomera. Small and wild, it is a perfect destination for hiking and nature. But what makes all its beauty and particularity is that it is absolutely intact from any tourism. Located all west of the Canary Islands, its landscapes are completely preserved. The result is an exuberant nature with incredible views over the ridges.
During your hikes, you will discover quite different landscapes: noisy and lush forests, fertile valleys, dark volcanic landscapes, steep summits facing the Atlantic. You can also swim there, not on fine sandy beaches, but in beautiful natural swimming pools. We recommend you those of Charco Azul and La Maceta, both located in La Frontera.
