Where to stay in Lecce and its surroundings?

You’re going to leave for the South of Italy soon and you don’t know where to sleep in Lecce? Discover the best places to stay in this beautiful city!

Often considered as "South Florence", the city of Lecce is a must-see for anyone exploring the Puglia region in southern Italy.

Located in the center of Salento, the territory forming the famous Italian booth, the city is populated by almost 100,000 inhabitants. If Lecce is not particularly marked by the Renaissance period, it is one of the jewels of the baroque era, and for centuries was an important intellectual centre in Italy. Fascinated by a material bearing its name (the stone of Lecce), the city is also covered by many churches (its historic center counts 23!), giving it its other nickname: the città-chiesa (city-church).
