Commercial centers and concepts stores in Lisbon

Like any big city, Lisbon is full of shopping centers... But some come out of the lot! One of the best known is probably the Embaixada The Príncipe Real district. This shopping centre is housed in the magnificent Ribeiro da Cunha Palace, a huge neo-mauresque-style building. Inside, there is a multitude of designer boutiques in chic and trendy style: clothing, accessories, cosmetics, ceramists, restaurants... For a more urban experience, run to the LX Factory , a center-commercial-coworking-galerie that self-defined as “a factory of experiments”. Hosted in an old industrial building, there are now designer boutiques, bookstores, workshops, restaurants and cafes...

The Feira da Ladra chip market, the temple of the second hand

Near the Alfama district, discover the flea market La Feira da Ladra ("the voleuse market"). You will find almost all the possible and imaginable objects, with prices adapted to all the wallets: it goes from the restored Portuguese antiquity, to second or third hand t-shirts... To see at least for the atmosphere and sometimes surprising objects!

In the Baixa and Chiado, trendy and vintage shopping in Lisbon

It’s in the Rua Augusta , the main artery of the Baixa, which you will find all these great family companies of a century, typically Portuguese, as well as various international brands. In the Chiado, another shopping street is sometimes considered the “Portuguese Champs Elysées”: it is the majestic and chic avenida da Liberdade, the shopping temple in Lisbon.

Still in this neighborhood, don't miss the Conserveira de Lisboa , a garden opened in 1930, fascinating for its stacking of multicolored sardines. Other institution to see, shop A Vida Portuguesa . This store is a tribute to the great Portuguese brands of the past: soaps, cans, posters and other design objects vintage exhibited there as in a museum...
