The Batu Caves between culture, adventure and monkeys
The caves of Batu de Malaysia are not just a series of caves.
The caves, located north of Kuala Lumpur , are the site of an emblematic Hindu temple and sanctuary. The site is known for its huge statue of the Hindu god Murugan (or Kârttikeya, the god of war), its 272 steps that lead to a magnificent view of the city and its surroundings, and the many monkeys that made Batu caves their home.
If you want to have a deeper experience of the discovery of caves in general, you should take one of the climbing paths located in the caves of Batu. The photos below will show you that they are a nice visit during your stay in Kuala Lumpur!
