This is the most economical solution to achieve your transfer between Ciampino Airport and Rome . The airport shuttle will cost you only 5€ for a single trip from the airport, 5,80€ from Rome Termini and 9€ for a return trip . The route is operated by Terravision, founded in Rome in 2002. This multinational company offers low-cost transfer throughout Europe.

Tickets can be purchased online on the Terravision website (without booking fees) or directly at the airport. However, for more comfort and also to avoid waste of time on arrival, we recommend that you book your transfer between Ciampino Airport and Rome online. Note that you can change the time and date of your ticket or return: the date change is free!

It is also one of the fastest solutions. The journey lasts an average of 40 minutes. The shuttles leave every half hour in the day and every hour in the evening. Shuttle schedules for Ciampino-Rome Termini airport transfer are as follows: from 8H15 to 00H15.

In the opposite direction, from Rome Termini to Ciampino Airport, the shuttles operate between 4H30 and 21H20.

Taxi transfer

For your transfer between Ciampino Airport and Rome City Centre, you can take a taxi. An official agreement between Rome and Roman taxis sets the race fare for this journey to 30 euros . You will have to pay a surcharge of one euro for any additional baggage however (the first baggage is free).

To recognize the taxis in the city of Rome, make sure they are white. The inscription “Roma Capitale” must also be visible on the front door and on the rear of the vehicle. For the journey time, count at least 40 minutes to reach the city centre of Rome.

There is no direct train line between Ciampino Airport and the centre of Rome. However, there is a train between the city of Ciampino and the Rome Termini train station or the Rome Tiburtina train station (20 minutes away). But you'll still have to borrow it shuttle between the airport and the city of Ciampino . Added to the frequency of trains, the bus or taxi option is much more advantageous in terms of prices, simplicity and speed!

Other transfer solutions
