The Red Beach of Panjin in China

All right, this is not a traditional beach... you will not find bathers or sand castles here. But Red beach of Panjin , located in the river delta Liaohe en China is a really special place.

The beach is covered with a green algae that grows every spring. In autumn, this algae cover becomes bright red and creates a breathtaking landscape.

Tourists can only visit a small area of the beach, but it’s really beautiful to look, even from a distance. The beach even had unusual uses... like when it was turned into a giant national flag .
