Whether natural parks, mountains, islands, rivers or coves, many places in the world are real wonders!
World wonder rankings are very selective. Some then had the will to set up a list of the new wonders of the world concerning the most spectacular monuments. A single initiative was set up by the Swiss New Seven Wonders Foundation in 2011 to update the new wonders of nature: this is what we will discover in this article.
1. Amazonia (South America)
Amazonia is a natural region that is mainly covered by the forest and is crossed by the Amazon (a large river and its tributaries). Its biodiversity is very threatened mainly by Man with deforestation and pollution. The landscapes are very different but all have an exceptional flora and fauna. This territory is unique because it extends over 6.7 million km2 and is comprised of 9 countries in South America (including Brazil, Peru, Venezuela, Colombia...). It is the green lung of Earth.

2. Ha Long Bay (Vietnam)
This second new wonder of nature is a water area of about 1,500 km2 that has 1969 different islands. Rocks, coves, caves are part of the landscape of the Ha Long Bay and enchant every year many tourists. On the water, there are floating villages, a place where fishermen’s families and remarkable braided bamboo boats live.

3. ♪ Iguazu Falls (Brazil and Argentina)
It is not really about the fall, but rather a set of 275 large cascades between Brazil and Argentina. The highest of them reaches the height of 90 m: it is called « Garganta del Diablo » or « Gorge du Diable » . Several circuits were arranged in the middle of the forest for tourists with different walkways.

6. Table Mountain (South Africa)
The Table Mountain, which overlooks the City of Cape Town , holds its name from its original form. Indeed, by far, it seems that it is flat and that a giant can use it as furniture for his meal. Moreover, when clouds are above the mass, the population is having fun to say that the “cloth has been put”. There are many animals (tortues, rodents, snakes) and about 1500 plant species.
