6. Longteng Bridge Ruins

The ruins of Longteng Bridge are officially known as the bridge of Yuteng Ping. In 1935, a devastating earthquake struck the region. The sublime bridge of Long-Teng was almost completely destroyed, with the exception of its arch-shaped pillars.

In 1999, Sanyi was struck by a second earthquake, that of Jiji. The fifth pillar of the bridge then collapsed. Today called “Longteng”, the bridge shows the power of these two earthquakes, in addition to the charm of ancient times.
