1. The Tro Breizh®

Every year, the association “Les Chemins du Tro Breizh” offers a journey through Brittany accessible to all. This journey, every time different, brings to life a very ancient tradition, that of the pilgrimage of the Seven Saints of Brittany.
The Tro Breizh® has become a real institution, bringing together up to 1500 people who have come to celebrate the seven holy founders of the region. This consists of walking for nearly 700 kilometers divided into seven stages, in good mood and in respect of tradition! It is common to take only one step a year, so take 7 years to complete the Tro Breizh® in full!
2. Low Forest of Brocéliande

3. Tour du Cap de la Chèvre from Morgat

The first half of the road (west side) is more difficult than the second (east side). But the many coves, the view of the ocean or the Bay of Douarnenez will make you forget all the efforts you need.

4. The Côte de Granit Rose in Ploumanac’h

It is a small loop that is very easy and among the easiest hikes in Brittany. Then go to discover the rose granite rocks, emblematic of the region, and almost unique in the world. You will slalom quietly through the huge blocks and enjoy the beautiful landscape offering to you.
Ideally, try the road at sunrise or sunset, when it plays artists with rocks.
5. The Tower of the Island of Houat

The island of Houat is one of the islands of Quiberon Bay, Morbihan.
Very appreciated by tourists, it is nevertheless not that synonymous with beaches ! Indeed, a nice path that makes it the turn allows to discover it from a new angle, a more natural angle, less touristic. This path represents one of the most beautiful hikes in Brittany by the landscapes it offers and its nature still a little wild.
6. From Cape Fréhel to Fort La Latte

Discover Cap Fréhel and its lighthouse in all their splendour via a rather well-designed path that will make you pass through the Fort La Latte. Old centuries, this castle of sandstones deserves to be stopped to observe its towers, dungeons and even old warcraft.
But first, follow the coast to Cape Fréhel. Then, amaze yourself in front of the thousand colors that will offer you this nature, overlooked by a lighthouse whose lantern carries more than 50 kilometers! Impressive!
7. Tour du Lac de Guerlédan

Lake Guerlédan is located in the heart of the Quénécan Forest, and is part of the border between the Côtes-d’Armor and Morbihan. Greater water retention from Brittany, turn around and admire many different views. The course is sometimes a little steep but it is worth the effort.
On the way, discover the town of Saint-Aignan, the Bon Repos and its shopping shops, or the Anse de Guerlédan.
8. The Alignments of Carnac

9. La Pointe Saint-Mathieu

Beginning in Plougonvelin, take a look at this trail among the most beautiful hikes in Brittany. The days of beautiful weather, you can see until Ouessant and even the Pointe du Raz!
Otherwise, many things are to be seen on this natural path: the site of Pointe Saint-Mathieu, where you can visit the lighthouse and the museum, and the Memorial to the Dead Marins for France. Also, don’t miss watching the Rade de Brest whose tip marks the beginning.

Elected GR® preferred by the French in 2018, GR®34 travels to Brittany for nearly 2000 kilometers. Dude Mont-Saint-Michel In Saint-Nazaire, it was then the path taken by customs officers to fight suspicious activities such as smuggling.
It attracts many hikers every year thanks to the magnificent views it offers on the Breton coast. But also because it has no significant difficulty. Indeed, Brittany being a fairly flat land, there are only few difficult passages. You can opt to realize it in its entirety, if you have the sporting spirit, otherwise you can simply borrow some parts, depending on your desires.
Small security reminder
Despite the absence of high mountain or high altitudes, hikes in Brittany are considered as all others. So stay foreseeable and always take what to ensure your safety and those of others.
- Team yourself correctly: walking shoes, covering cap and sunscreen.
- Have one. first aid kit with dressings and disinfectant as well as one phone fully charged in the event of an emergency.
- Bring it water : at least litre per person.
