1. ♪ Coteaux de la Seine

We start our hikes around Paris by the Coteaux de la Seine. From Saint-Lazare Station, you'll have to take the train to Bonnières. Once you arrive at a good port, you can enjoy a 7-8-hour hike to the Mantes-la-Jolie train station where you will find trains to get back to Paris.
This one will make you pass in front of a dove dug in the Falaise and above all by one of the most beautiful villages in the Hexagon, La Roche-Guyon . Along the path that leads to the castle in ruin, you will reach the heights of the city. Thus, a magnificent panorama will be revealed before your eyes. You will then see the whole city, but also the Seine and the surrounding greenery

To reach this hike around Paris, we recommend taking the RER B which stops in Bures-sur-Yvette or Gif-sur-Yvette. These two stations are perfect to start your getaway, just that of Bures-sur-Yvette is closer to the Viaduc. So you can shorten your ride a few kilometers.
The most beautiful passage of this hike is at the level of the commune of Gometz-le-Châtel. L’Ortie Rouge – a former 18th century presbytery – and its church classified as Historical Monument will charm you.
The ecclesiastical building dates back to the Middle Ages and was able to resist the many historical events such as the Hundred Year War. On the other hand, some stained glass windows are contemporary but made by the Andrieux glassmakers, responsible for notable restorations such as the Invalides.
As for the Ortie, if it stands before you, it is thanks to the sculptor Daniel Simalla. The artist decided to restore it in exchange for a emphyteotic lease. Its ochre façade and green shutters are very well blended in the landscape.
The Viaduc des Fauvette serves as a highlight of the show. This old railway track peaks at 42m high. Fans of climbing, runners or simple walkers, you will find something to do on this building.
3. Meudon-Val-fleuri – Meudon Forest

5. From Paris to Versailles by Nature

This hike is located in Paris itself! Your itinerary can start from Porte Maillot or from Porte Dauphine, the most important thing is to be in the Bois de Boulogne. It already offers immersion in the very pleasant nature.
For example, if you pass through the park Edmond de Rothschild You'll have to slalom between swans, ducks and geese! You can even see some rags in some streams. Then you will arrive at the Parc de Saint-Cloud. It allows to connect Cities of Avignon, Sèvres, Saint-Cloud and Versailles between them.
Find the path that leads to the Fosses Repose wood to get to Versailles. If the 3:30 walk didn't get you tired, its famous castle remains a great option to last the pleasure.

It is an appointment in the middle of nature that awaits you through this hike around Paris. It starts in Chars, located in the val of Oise, and will make you discover the Natural Park of Vexin. Arrived at the train station, take the east direction to pass in front of the Moulin de Noisement. More functional, it still fed in flour the surrounding communes for many centuries.
A wood classified as "sensitive natural space" is located not far from there. Thanks to this label, fauna and flora have been preserved, making your walk even more beautiful. Head south to the lake of Vallière.
