Jacob's well, an artesian well, attracts many divers every year

An unusual place
The world is full of fantastic places and the USA, like Mexico, groan from these incredible places. This artesian well (where water flows spontaneously) in Texas is part of these places.
First note that in Maya, the Cenote means sacred wells; it’s kind of natural well which can reach several dozen meters of depth. One of the best known and deepest is in Mexico, called the Zacaton, with a depth of 318 metres.
But for the case of the Puits of Jacob, it is necessary to know that no divers managed to survey the funds of this cavity but it is estimated at almost 40 metres. Many are the people who practice amateur diving in this place out of time and space, not to mention the enthusiasts of enigma and the countless curious who seek to understand the meaning of all this.

The Puits of Jacob

Located in Texas, it is now a karstic source: on the bed of the Cypress Creek watercourse in Wimberley County, this blunt hole is about 4 meters in diameter and can be estimated at about 4,000 litres of water that escape from the minute. It is the paradise of all divers.
Discovered in the middle of the 19th century by a couple of pioneers looking for the source of the river, this place is now a unmissable spot to meet with friends or scuba diving enthusiasts and lovers of crystalline water.
You will be able to give you spectacular dips and other bathing in the very belly of the crevasse. A place of total relaxation in the greatest state of all the United States that only awaits you.
It should be noted that the Puits of Jacob is a biblical reference (very strong stewardship in this region of the USA), a gigantic crevasse that continues in the depths of the earth in the form of narrow passages and caves still unexplored.
The dangers of Jacob’s Well
For several generations, children, adolescents and even adults have gone to the well of Jacob to swim quietly. Nevertheless, it is important to know that, despite the beauty and calm of the place, many incidents occurred. Young people often plunge into it and, having no idea of the depth of the well, sometimes find it difficult to get back to the surface. A dozen people lost their lives in this well, despite warnings at the entrance to the natural park.
The dive into the depths of the well is therefore to be avoided.
