Every year theworlds50best publishes a list of the 50 best restaurants in the world. The ranking is based on a judgment of more than 900 experts who must give a list of 7 restaurants. Of course, experts must have eaten in restaurants and have no connection whatsoever with them.
The restaurants are also evaluated and not their chef. Here are the top 10 restaurants in 2013:
1. El Celler de Can Roca, Girona (Spain)

Robert Young
“The Roca brothers dominate the world of restoration”, which is what we hold when we see the ranking. Three brothers, Joan, Josep and Jordi, rediscover the traditional Catalan cuisine with their touch of modernity.
In this restaurant, catalan products are mainly served in a very unusual presentation. Their modern dishes and full of flavours allow them to reach the first place in 2013.

Tradition combined with modernity is often a success story. This year his new "camouflage" dish was able to conquer the jury.
