The 2014 Sculpture by the Sea exhibition takes place on Bondi Beach from October 23 to November 9
Sculpture by the Sea is an annual exhibition of outdoor sculptures, the largest in its kind in Australia, which takes place on the beaches of Sydney and Perth. Launched in 1996, the exhibition, which is currently in its 18th edition, is spread over two kilometers from Bondi Beach in Tamarama Beach ( Sydney ) with more than 100 sculptures by artists from 16 different countries. Some of the best sculptures of this year include a strange meter created by Geoffrey Drake-Brockman, an interactive arcade that counts visitors when they walk through it, and one Giant stove of Andrew Hankin on the beach of Tamarama named “We’re fryin’ out here” ("We fried here").
2014 edition Sculpture by the Sea has the particularity of welcoming the 1000th artist since his creation.
