Pok Fu Lam Terrace Cemetery in Hong Kong

The tombs attend a sunset every night, a beautiful last residence!

Private cemetery in the neighbourhood Pok Fu Lam (or Pokfulam) in the western part of the island Hong Kong is an amazing show: built on the mountainside in bleachers connected with stairs, the cemetery looks like a giant amphitheatre Open air.

Pok Fu Lam Cemetery, also known as Chinese Christian Cemetery , was built in 1882 on the hills of Pok Fu Lam district in Hong Kong, nestled between Pok Fu Lam Road above and above Victoria Road downstairs. The necropolis was built from the heights and, as the cemetery grew, it was expanded to the bottom towards the Victoria Road . Today, a part of the cemetery is even beyond the Victoria Road (see the satellite view below).
