From street art by French Patrick Commecy to animate the sad facades of cities and villages!
French artist Patrick Commecy and his team of muralists transform the dull and boring facades across France into dynamic tables full of life . His hyperrealistic paintings like windows, balconies and tiles really look like what we could find in a charming village or neighbourhood. In the balcony or in “open air”, Commecy often includes famous and influential characters in the history of the city where the trumpet-eye is painted.
The trumpet-eye above is on a swing in Montpellier, at 33 Balard Street in Clémenceau Park. The characters on the painting are all from Montpellier and have all been renamed for something. Antoine-Jérôme Balard is, for example, the bromine discoverer and a pioneer amateur of photography. Juliette Gréco was a singer and actress.

On the side of the first Bureau of the Guides, 20 pioneers of Alpineism, among the most famous, painted in trumpet-eye, find the view of Mont Blanc.
The following photo shows a beautiful corner facade in Levallois, but what is impressive is that the tree is part of the trumpet-eye.
