Gap Municipal Area

At the foot of the Parc National des Écrins, find this free area on which different services are available. In fact, wastewater, portable W.C drain and drinking water supply are on the site.

Need some shopping? So a supermarket is waiting for you a hundred meters away.

Aire « La halte de Napoléon »

This area is located on the Digne road in Castellane, between the Verdon National Park and the Pré Alpes d’Azur. From what you adventure in nature the time of a great day during your visit to the Route Napoléon on a camping-car.

In addition, the area costs only 6,50€ at night. Services? Release of chemical toilets, discharge of waste water, water and electricity.

Sisteron Service Area

The area offers various services on site: draining waste water, draining portable W.C and drinking water for 80 litres. It should also be noted that a leisure centre is 800 metres away and the forest is 1 km away.

4 days

In four days on the Route Napoléon in motorhome, you will obviously not have the time to see everything. Nevertheless, you can admire the greatest points of interest.

• 3rd and 4th days: Grenoble, visit the bastille, the cathedral, but also the resistance museum (4h30 road for 355 km).

1 week

With a week, you can discover some of the must-see spots of the Route Napoléon on a motorhome. Nevertheless, note that you will not be able to enjoy several days in the same place and will miss some points that might prove interesting.

Here is the proposed route:

• 1st day: Golfe de Juan, diving + enjoy the beaches.
• 2nd day: Grasse, visit of the perfumeries, essential of this place, and of the city itself (35 minutes drive for 25 km).
• 3rd day: Cannes, visit to the city and its port (25 minutes drive for 17 km).
• 4th day: Castellane, hiking on the cliffs, for a breathtaking view of the area (1h30 road for 83 km).
• 5th day: Verdon Regional Natural Park, visit and hike to the discovery of the region's magical fauna and flora (1 hour drive for 45 km).
• 6th day: Sisteron, visit the magnificent citadel hanging on the rock, for a magical and unique moment (1h15 road for 75 km).
• 7th day: Grenoble, visit the bastille in the early afternoon, then the cathedral to close the day and the beauty trip (2h10 road for 140 km).

2 weeks

Two weeks is the minimum duration of the stay to really enjoy the Route Napoléon on a camping car. Indeed, given the extent of this, being able to make more frequent stops and visiting all points of interest takes time.
