Le Suquet

A picturesque and historic centre of Cannes, the hill and the Suquet district were once the cradle of the city: Provence in all its charms unveiled to passers-by. Among the historic buildings, you will find remnants of the Middle Ages on the list of historical monuments, including the Notre-Dame d’Espérance church. Don't miss the Castre Museum, a medieval castle of the Monks of Lérins and former ceramic factory (in the 19th century). In the oldest street in the city you will find an atmosphere that is otherwise more peaceful and popular than the bling-bling frascos of the Croisette.

La Croisette

La Croisette and its eponymous boulevard are the emblems of the city of Cannes. Located in the east of this city of 74,285 canes, the Croisette is the busy and guinded area of Cannes. A large pedestrian walk with pines and palm trees along the beach – from which the visitor has a breathtaking view of the islands of Lérins and the cap d’Antibes – and is surrounded by luxury hotels, luxury residences and palaces. Here, at 12 000 € per square metre, rents to sleep in Cannes are paid in thousands of euros, the Croisette being the flagship of international investors and stars from all over the world. La Croix-des-Gardes

Located west of the city, between La Bocca and Petit Juas, there is the highest point of Cannes, 260 metres above sea level. Built on the hillside in the massif of Croix-des-Gardes, you will have a splendid view of the Gulf of Napoule. The area has been able to preserve large, pristine spaces within the forest natural park, a green setting that is classified by the department. In order to stay in Cannes, this a bit excited neighborhood offers much less rent than at the Croisette.

The Bocca

Located all west of Cannes, this neighborhood offers much more affordable prices, with a residential part and another where demographics are much more popular. Sleeping in La Bocca can be a good strategy to explore Cannes and surrounding areas if you arrive at the Cannes-Mandelieu airport and if you run the ostentatious and sometimes indecent spread of the great bourgeoisie.
