How to get to Beauval Zoo? Transport & Parking

Are you planning to visit this famous animal park of the Centre-Val de Loire? So here's how to go to the Beauval Zoo!

Ranked 4th most beautiful zoo in the world, the ZooParc de Beauval welcomes 35,000 Animals all over the world over nearly 20 territories. You can admire lions, giant pandas, snow panthers, hippopotamus, elephants and other great monkeys!

By car

First of all, it is necessary to know that the ZooParc de Beauval is located in the department of Loir-et-Cher (41). It is located south of the city of Blois, halfway between Tours and Vierzon. To go to the Beauval Zoo, the car is obviously an ideal, flexible and convenient means of transport. You can also park easily and free at the zoo. From Paris

Travel time: 2h40

Tariff: tolls 16,90 € or 23,20 € on the route

From Paris, you have to take the A10 until Orleans then take the direction of Tours. Get out of Blois then take the D956 then D675 to Saint-Aignan. You can also take, in Orléans, A71 direction Vierzon then the A85 . Go out to Saint-Aignan and follow the signs to the ZooParc de Beauval.

From Rennes and Le Mans

Travel time: 3h

Tariff: toll 25,20 € since Rennes, 12,80€ Le Mans

From Rennes, you have to join the A81 to Le Mans. Then turn on the A28 until Tours then follow the A85 . Finally get out to Saint-Aignan and follow the signs to the ZooParc.

From Nantes and Angers

Travel time: 2h40

Tariff: toll 25,70 € from Nantes, 16,90 € since Angers

From Nantes, you have to take the A11 then fork on the A85 Right after Angers. You will finally have to go out to Saint-Aignan and follow the signs to the ZooParc de Beauval.

From Clermont-Ferrand

Travel time: 2h40

Tariff: toll 25,80 €

From Clermont-Ferrand, you can take the A71 until Vierzon then follow the A85 until exit 12 Saint-Aignan. You will only have to follow the signs to the Zoo de Beauval.

From Limoges

Travel time: 2h10

Tariff: No toll

From Limoges, you can take the A20 to Châteauroux and go to the Zoo de Beauval via the departmental roads. In particular, you will have to follow the D943 until Villedieu-sur-Indre, then the D76 to Argy, the D11 then D81 to Nouans-les-Fontaines. Finally D675 to the ZooParc.

Note that the exact address of the park is: ZooParc de Beauval, Avenue du Blanc, 41110 Saint-Aignan.

By train and bus shuttle

Another ideal way to get to the Beauval Zoo is the train. Several stations surround the animal park. The latter even set up a bus to the station of Blois-Chambord.

You can therefore take a train to SNCF stations Blois , 45 minutes from Beauval, or Saint-Pierre-des-Corps 55 minutes. To reach the ZooParc from one of the SNCF stations, you just need to call a taxi, opt for the bus shuttle or take a carpool.

For the shuttle, the shuttle is operational spring to fall . The dates are on the official site of the Beauval Zoo . Connecting the Blois SNCF station and the Beauval ZooParc, the shuttle takes into account the SNCF schedules of the line “Paris Austerlitz-Blois” . It also serves the communes of Contres, Noyers sur Cher and Saint-Aignan. The shuttle fare is from 3 € a trip, 6 € the return trip.

From Paris, Blois is located only 3h trains. The journey usually costs 23 to 30 € per person. From Orléans, the trip lasts 40 minutes and costs 12 € per person. From Nantes, the journey lasts 4h on average for a rate oscillating around 30 € .

Note that you can also take a train to the station TER de Saint-Aignan – Noyers-sur-Cher , which is only 8 kilometers from the park. Private this station if you come since Tours . The journey lasts 50 minutes and costs only 12 € by traveler.

By bus

The Flixbus bus company sometimes offers a bus line between Paris and the Beauval Zoo from 13 € The trip. The line operates only on weekends and during the opening and high tributary periods of the park .

Except for this very convenient line, the bus is not necessarily the most convenient way to get to the Beauval Zoo. It still remains an excellent option to reach the city of Tours. Flixbus also offers many small-priced roundtrips to Tours from Paris, Angers and Nantes:

  • From Paris, the bus trip lasts 3h and generally costs 20 € ;
  • From Angers, count 1h40 travel to a fare 10 € by traveler;

You can call them from the stations of Saint-Aignan – Noyers-sur-Cher, Tours, Saint-Pierre-des-Corps, Blois and Vierzon. These stations are those of the main cities around the animal park.

How to park? Parking at the Zoo de Beauval

The Zoo de Beauval is home to 8 free parking lots, representing a total 4,000 parking spaces . It also features free camping-car parking, reserved PSH pitches, bike pitches and two motorized wheels.
