And know that the dream is at hand since it is very easy to go to Amsterdam from Paris.
Indeed, the train will be your best friend: comfortably installed in your seat and without any change, you will arrive at the Amsterdam train station after three hours and fifteen minutes of travel. From here you can enjoy the lively streets of Amsterdam as the central station is just steps from the historic centre.
Train Paris – Amsterdam : schedules
From Paris, you will find your train to Amsterdam at Gare du Nord. The most popular company to take the train to Amsterdam is the Thalys. With an average of 10 daily connections, you will only have the embarrassment of choice for your departure. You can leave at 7:24 a.m., but you will also find departures at 9:24 a.m., 10:25 a.m., 14:25 p.m., or 5:25 p.m., the last departure at 7:25 p.m.
Train Paris – Amsterdam : prices
As with any purchase of a ticket, it’s better to get in advance to get the best rates. In general, one tries to take 1 month or 3 weeks in advance to get advantageous prices: 65€, 55€ and even 35€ to go to Paris Amsterdam, which amounts to 130€, 110€ and 70€ to go back. If you want to offer a summer trip, you should know that the rates are still reasonable on certain dates, especially at the end of July or August, where you can find tickets at 65€ and 55€.
If you are less than 25 years old and have a young card, the rates do not exceed the bar of the €100. However, the prices of the tickets reserved for the last minute fly away: up to 135€. So we forget the improvisation with the Thalys and we get ahead.

Flixbus, Ouibus or Eurolines offer trips to Amsterdam between 18€ and 35€. An economic formula that will require more patience: the journey lasts between 6:30 and 8:30.
