What was the cause of your claim?
The cause of my refund request is a late cancellation of my Toulouse Paris flight. I was warned the same day a few hours before my flight (I was leaving at the airport).
Did you first contact Easyjet?
I did not contact EasyJet because I had a bad experience in the past with their customer service. By choosing to be accompanied by a specialist, I was able to make a free exchange of my ticket for a flight the following day: at first I did not think of compensation from them.
Why did you choose to appeal to a firm specializing in compensation?
I fell on an advertisement for Flightright then... I tried it. There were inconsistencies in the reason for the cancellation of my flight: on the one hand a problem of ground staff, on the other a fire. So and just like my spouse, I had to make an emergency leave with my employer. These are clearly days of leave that I would have wanted to use to another scientist! Hence my claim for compensation which was primarily intended to compensate for those days of lost leave.
