With the hiking to the Pic de la Tijuca , you will be able to enjoy a wonderful walk for 2 hours and enjoy a breathtaking view of the Tijuca Forest and the main monuments of Rio including the famous Christ Redeemer which seems to be watching over each of the inhabitants.
The Tijuca Forest extends over nearly 32 km2 and offers a wide range of colours and scents for aficionados of nature or extreme sport.
After walking in this labyrinth that the forest is through its tropical flora, you will be able to climb to the Pic de Tijuca up to 1021 meters precisely by borrowing a steep staircase in particular, while grabbing you to a chain. The hike follows the contours of the hill and the elevation is light.

Sports hiking
For lovers of breathtaking panoramic views, the ascent to the Pic de la Tijuca is a must not be missed. The Pic de Tijuca is the highest point in Tijuca National Park, with 1021 meters above sea level and offers one of the most beautiful landscapes in Rio.
But like any exceptional site, it deserves itself and that is why it will have to be in good physical condition and not be cold in the eyes to try this new experience. If the weather conditions are all met, the ascent can take place in at least 2 hours from the Tijuca Forest where you will be deposited with a professional guide who will accompany you.
The level of this hike is considered moderate. It is advisable to wear light clothes, to have good walking shoes and to bring in a backpack a bottle of water, sun cream, what to cover your head and a snack.
