Book your accommodation in advance and leave your belongings
To enjoy a beautiful evening, it is necessary to think the next day! We recommend that you book your accommodation well in advance, especially if you think of sleeping in the city of Haad Rin. Attention, however, all the rooms of the latter are empty during this event. This is an opportunity for thieves and other burglaries of all kinds. Make sure to leave your valuables in the safe.
Do not take your important items with you. Your passport and credit cards should stay in a safe. Just think about taking liquid money with you, little money for the toilet and a copy of your passport in case or.
Finally, we recommend that you book a accommodation elsewhere on the island and plan a return by taxi.
Don't take drugs

La Half Moon Party
Each month, you can also participate in a Half Moon Party. As its name suggests, they take place when the moon is half full, or about 15 days after a Full Moon Party. Less crowded and extended on the beach, these parties are nevertheless a good option if you cannot participate in a Full Moon Party.
How do I access the Full Moon Party?
As mentioned earlier, the Full Moon Party in Ko Pha Ngan takes place southeast of the island on the Haad Rin peninsula. You will have to go to this place to participate in this famous party.
First, if you are not yet on the island of Ko Pha Ngan, you will obviously have to join it. For example, you can fly to Ko Samui, the most famous neighbor of Ko Phangan. A ferry will then easily take you to the latter.
Second, you will have to reach the city of Haad Rin where the Full Moon Party takes place. It's only 20 minutes by car the arrival port of the ferry. You can take a taxi on site or rent a scooter to reach the beach of the Full Moon Party.
Note that it is possible to take a boat or ferry directly from Koh Samui For the Full Moon Party. We recommend that you prefer this option if you do not want to visit Ko Pha Ngan.
Where to park near the Full Moon Party?
You can park your vehicle in the city of Haad Rin. However, we do not recommend you join the Full Moon Party in scooter or with any other motorized vehicle. Already, scooter flights are not so rare.
But above all, you are very likely to have an accident on your way back. There are many scooter accidents during Full Moon periods. If it’s not alcohol, it’s fatigue or the world’s overflow on the roads. As mentioned earlier, many clinics opened in the city to treat these wounded. The risk is therefore not minimal.
We recommend that you sleep on site or take a taxi to return to your accommodation elsewhere on the island.
Where to stay near the Full Moon Party in Ko Pha Ngan?
The privileged place to stay near the Full Moon Party is obviously the city where the party is held. Haad Rin houses many hostels and other cheap hotels. But to benefit from reasonable prices, we recommend you book your room or bed long in advance. Do not hesitate to come several days in advance if necessary. We also recommend that you avoid the city center and prefer the establishments further on the beach.
You can also stay on the island of Ko Phangan. You can also join the party from the island of Ko Samui , thus avoiding booking accommodation on site if you do not wish to visit Ko Pha Ngan. Also make sure to book your boat trip in advance and check the return times!
