Small overview of my favorite cities in Spain – Mediterranean side
As you will surely have understood, I will speak about the cities I love on the Mediterranean coast, my favourites are 5: Jávea, Llançà, Murcia, Cartagena and Valencia.
Jávea
To start with, I'll introduce you Jávea , it is a city of the department of Valencia I visited a few months ago and I immediately hung. I love this city very much because the climate is perfect, it is very hot in summer, which allowed me to enjoy the beach, and in winter it is not very cold! Water from the sea to Jávea is super clean and it is very pleasant to bathe in it.
When I went to Jávea I made a hike in Montgó Mountain (Natural Park). It is partly because of this that I loved the region: from above there is a very beautiful view of the whole coast and summer, when the sky is clear, you can see the island of Ibiza in the distance! I advise you to rent a apartment in Jávea In summer!
Llançà
Then, much further north, in the region of Catalonia, I discovered a few years ago the small town of Llançà , which is about 150 km from Barcelona, and it is on the holiday road that I knew it. We had decided to stop there to visit a friend who takes a visit rental in Llançà Every year. He told us it was worth the detour and the beaches were very beautiful.
Clearly, he wasn’t wrong. In addition to that, I remember loving the kitchen Llançà , seafood dishes like I love them!
Murcia
Let's now talk about Murcia , that I visited for the first time a few weeks ago, and of which I especially loved one thing: we were early December and it was super hot, and yes, it counts! Apart from that, the city is unfortunately not coastal but I still loved it. If you go there, don’t forget to go to the cathedral, which is just huge, its bell tower is one of the highest of Spain .
Cartagena
To stay in the same corner, at about 50 km (if I’m not mistaken), I spent an afternoon at Cartagena , and there I really felt like I was in the summer. Temperatures? I wouldn’t know how to tell you, but I made the mistake of putting a sweater and I had a hot TRÈS. I visited an old Roman theatre and walked along the port. I only want to go back, and this time take my family to get them to discover all this.
Valencia
Finally, I can't talk to you about Valencia the third largest city in Spain. I love it for a lot of things: its beaches, its climate, its shops (many, a lot of possibilities for shopping fans), its Cité des Arts et des Sciences, its historic centre...
